Dr. Nicholas Bliss
Dr. Nicholas Bliss DC
Chiropractor
Certified Active Release (ART) Practitioner
Nicholas joined us in August 2006 after graduating with first class honours in chiropractic from University of Glamorgan, Wales. He took top honours, though, by being awarded the prize for “clinical excellence” at his graduation ceremony. This trend continues in his professional practice.
Our patients are very appreciative of Nick’s healing touch and caring attitude. He inspires their loyalty. We are proud to have him as a second-generation chiropractor at Bliss Clinic.
At an early stage in his career, Nicholas has developed a specialty in the treatment of overuse or “repetitive strain” injuries (such as tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, Achilles tendonitis and nerve entrapment problems). These, often difficult to manage and chronic medical problems, respond exceedingly well and often quickly to Active Release Techniques (ART®). He continues to maintain this specialty status through continued post-graduate education from the USA.
Since 2009, Nicholas has been adding a second specialty of Craniosacral Therapy (CST) to his repertoire therapeutic tools. This is a highly refined method of influencing the functioning of the body's central nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord and its covering tissues. Nick continues his studies through the Upledger Institute, a world-wide accrediting organization. Presently, he is one of just a handful of CST practitioners in Finland.
He is a member of the Finnish Chiropractors’ Association.
His spare time is spent with his family, reading and advancing his interests in health and medicine – and not infrequently, with golf clubs and horses!
